Each participant is given approximately 7 minutes to share their ceremonial experience.
Therapists are required to set a 7-minute timer with a soft, non-intrusive sound to help participants and the group remain aware of time boundaries and maintain focus, especially in larger groups (e.g., 15 participants).
The therapist’s role is to
facilitate reflection,
not to interpret or analyze the participant’s experience.
Use gentle guidance and reflective questioning to help participants recognize, clarify, and name the emotional and cognitive processes they experienced during ceremony.
- The aim is to support organic integration through participant-led insight, while maintaining a respectful, focused, and time-sensitive group dynamic.
